Everyone loves a wedding, especially when it involves royalty. That’s why fifty-two designers from all 8 seasons of Project Runway have created sketches of wedding dresses for Kate Middleton. The above photo is a design by Rami Kashou, from season 4 of Project Runway. I picked his design as my favorite because I love how the curves and texture of the skirt create a pattern that looks like roses. The fifty-two designs vary in color, shape, texture and fabric. Some even step away from the traditional design of a wedding gown for a more unique and out-of-the-box presentation. Another interesting aspect of the sketches themselves is the materials used to make them. Not all are typical pen and ink drawings, some are digital while some use what look to be magazine cutouts of Kate herself.
