Typographic Logos from TV

As someone who watches probably too much tv, I try to pay attention to all the design work that goes into a tv show identity. All three of these typographic tv show logos use subtle design qualities to create the perfect graphic.
NBC’s Parenthood has a subtle variation in font-weight. I also enjoy how the “a” is slightly tucked behind the “P”, it reminds me of how a child might shy behind their parents legs.
ABC’s Modern Family uses a san serif and serif font, as well as color, to differentiate between the two words. The combination I find quite harmonious.
SyFy’s Being Human also uses a slight variation in font-weight, as well as a smudgy humanoid shape. This logo captures the idea that humans and “monsters” are in the most subtle ways and one must take a closer look to see the differences, a key point in the show.
